Why did you act like that?

I believed you were different.

I thought I saw light in your eyes.

My heart bled through my clothes.

Messing up my fancy dress.

I thought there was light in you.

I almost believed your lies.

But your poisoned words showed.

Why did you act like that?

Why were you so harsh?

Am I that worthless for you?

I really wanted to believe.
