Why should I give up right now?
My heart still pumps blood every day.
I know I can overcome any kind of adversity.
My tears will have a purpose soon, I know it.
I know I will get through all of this bitter kind of pain.
I must keep going. I must work harder every day.
Why should I give up right now? I can do it.
No matter if no one believes in me.
I do believe in my own strength.
I do believe I can do any single thing I want to.
Fighting against the bitter shadows of your past,
I see you are fighting next to me, dear one.
Don't worry, we won’t give up, I promise it.
Hold my hand and let's go somewhere better.
The darkness is almost over,I can feel it in my bones.
I am not ready to give up yet. I am not ready to fall.
If I give up, you will be pleased. And I don’t want to please you.
I want to be unapologetically me, that is all.
