A little thought/prose peom about heartbreak
What can you do if trust has gone down the drain?
Once upon a time, not long ago, you believed his words.
You believed that maybe you had a chance to make it right.
Silly goose, believing in the words of somebody you didn't know.
You stay silent, quietly drowning in all your sorrow.
The stars seem a bit darker for today. Can't you see?
The innocence was lost between the ashes of a fire.
It becomes harder just to smile and keep going.
I think the best thing to do is to smile and leave the past behind.
It is healthier to start over new, away from any bitter memory.
Life is what we built by the second, not what we did in the past.
