Why does reading some edifying stories doesn’t hurt your soul?

I think I don’t have the need of telling you this. It seems as if in this convoluted world, a lot of humans seem determined to drown themselves in a sea of depression and sadness. Also, I don’t need to tell you that, indeed, this world is a very turbulent place, and it would be absurd to pretend that everything is happiness and joy all the time.

But as things turn darker, it becomes a true need, having time to do any activity that might help to soothe our spirits. This doesn’t mean, in any way, trying to escape from our lives. It just means trying to find a space to reconnect with what we are and what we truly need.

Also, if we get too involved in surrounding ourselves with violent images, painful news, and darker things, there is a huge chance our mood might drop, and we might make every person around feel filled with that same darkness.

Is that what we really want for our younger ones?

So, if you wanna gift your younger ones a good read, something different to what they see online; here is a little compilation that all the family will surely enjoy.

Why don’t you try some edifying read like this one? Give your children a gift that will help their spirit to grow in a healthy way.
