Where are we going?

Who cries to the body that falls cold in a corner of the sidewalk?
Does anyone of the “good citizens” have time to feel something for someone who is not from their family?
They pretend they care, to get on the local news.
Pretend they care, just to get some likes.
But when the cameras turn off they return to their selfishness.
Compassion has become just another vulgar hashtag.
