If you share other writers’ works, without knowing them in real life, only because you enjoyed what you read, let me thank you from the bottom of my heart. Not everybody is lucky enough to have a huge social media following, or as it happened to me, sometimes people get their social media profiles flooded with useless bots by a couple of embittered haters (or shall I say “closeted fans” of my work?)
So, believe it or not, by doing something seemingly as simple as hitting that “share” button, you are doing something wonderful for a fellow writer, and the best part is that it costs nothing to you.
Such a little action can make a difference for a new writer who is still fighting day after day to try to get somebody to read what they write.
Not everybody is backed up by some gigantic publishing house. A lot of talented writers only have you, dear reader, as a main source of support and encouragement.
So, please share your heart away!
