She just put on a little more lipstick and smiled as she gently ran her hand over her soft belly. Imperfect, beautiful, filled with battle scars just like her soul. She was simply rejoicing for an instant in the wonder of her body. Maybe she would never appear in a fashion magazine. But she didn’t care. This woman knew that she was born to be free. Not to please people who didn’t even care about her as a person.
