Short as a Breath
Poem about life and death
Faced with this journey of life and death,
We must find the courage to take a breath.
Life may be fleeting, but it’s also sweet,
A precious gift that we must not forget.
Breathe in and breathe out,
Find the strength when life is full of doubts.
Take each moment and make it last,
Before it slips away too fast.
Tears of joy for those who are born,
And some of despair for those who are gone.
Eternal spiral that keeps quickly moving.
The little rose has some big thorns.
As life quickly passes you by.
Shed no more tear, precious kid,
Let no ache bring you down.
As the sun will shine again.
Just clear your mind up.
