Page Of Concrete (Poem)
A long poem, please, bear with me.
There is something you should have seen long ago,
A cruel page of emptiness that fades away.
The city falls down at your feet right now.
Moment after moment, your tears fall down.
Day after day, you keep looking for brighter days.
Multiplied by the noise that surrounds you daily.
No escape from the shadows of last night.
The bright lights are blinding you more than ever.
Smell of past memories tatooed all over your skin.
Rain keeps falling down on the broken town.
Drop by drop, your mind tries to find meaning.
Neon lights are trying to distract you. Turn away.
The more you run, the more troubled you get.
City might be empty, but you are fully awake.
Glowing souls trying to find some kind of release.
Coming after your mortal soul real soon.
No more reasons for your tears to fall.
These unliving beings might haunt you.
Clear your mind from any shade of doubts.
