Not All the Healers Live for the Spotlight

We have different motivations

Since when do you need to be thirsty for fame in order to help others?
Personally, I find it a little laughable the fact that today, the fact that you say in public that you have some kind of interest in helping others, leads many people to think that you are going to channel that interest by opening a YouTube channel or want your Instagram page to have a million likes. Really?
I do not doubt that there are many “healers” whose ambitions are of the media influencer kind, and I do not judge them. But it is absurdly reductionist to label everyone with an interest in healing that way.

Many forget that at the end of the day, healers are normal human beings, and that they come in different ways. Not everyone in the world is born as an extrovert. In fact, helping others helps a lot of them to have a little bit more of confidence in themselves, as they know they are doing something helpful for those who need it the most.

There is nothing wrong with that, nowadays, many people within the aforementioned areas use social networks only to spread their work calmly, without worrying too much about being considered influencers with juicy sponsorship contracts.

In the end, each one chooses the way in which he wants to manage their career.

If you only want to help others for the fame and money that comes from being recognized at great levels in your career. That is welcome! No one should tell you how to live your own life. But if you dedicate yourself to healing others because you really feel a call, because you want to help yourself by helping others, or because human pain is not alien to you, and you only see fame as something secondary … that is perfect!

Just do what makes you most happy and manage your career in the way that suits you best. But do it for you, without being influenced by social networks or other people.

No matter if half the world says that those who are engaged in the same thing as you have to behave or act in a certain way.

At the end of the road, you know your motivation and who you really are. No matter what could happen. Is not that hard. Be true to yourself and the rest will come by itself.
