No Fear Of Myself
A very personal poem
I have no fear of my own existence,
For I have overcome a lot.
The trials and tribulations of life,
I have faced them head-on, and fought.
I have seen the darkest of days,
And felt the weight of despair.
But I refused to let it consume me,
And emerged stronger, with more to share.
I have battled the demons within,
And learned to conquer my fears.
I have embraced the power of resilience,
And shed countless tears.
I have been knocked down many times,
But I have always risen again.
For I know that with perseverance,
I can weather any storm, any pain.
I have been betrayed by those I trusted,
And let down by those I loved.
But I have learned to forgive and move on,
And to cherish the good that remains, undeterred.
I have faced the harsh realities of life,
The injustice, the inequality, the strife.
But I have refused to be a victim,
And instead, chosen to fight.
I have no fear of my own existence,
For I have come to know my strength.
I have learned to love and accept myself,
And to go to any length.
I have discovered the power of gratitude,
And the joy of giving back.
I have learned to appreciate the simple things,
And to stay on the right track.
I have no fear of my own existence,
For I have learned to embrace change.
To see every obstacle as an opportunity,
And to always be willing to rearrange.
I have learned to dance in the rain,
And to find beauty in the midst of pain.
To never lose sight of my dreams,
And to always strive for growth, again and again.
I have no fear of my own existence,
For I have come to understand.
That life is a journey, not a destination,
And that every step counts, every hand.
So I will keep on walking,
With my head held high, and my heart open wide.
For I know that with every step,
I am growing, evolving, and becoming more alive.
I have no fear of my own existence,
For I have learned to trust the unknown.
To let go of my need for control,
And to surrender to life’s ebb and flow.
I have learned to listen to my inner voice,
And to follow the path that feels right.
To trust in the universe’s plan for me,
And to let my intuition be my guiding light.
I have no fear of my own existence,
For I have learned to embrace my flaws.
To see them as the unique pieces that make me,
And to love myself, imperfections and all.
I have learned to be kind to myself,
And to practice self-care every day.
To give myself the rest and nourishment I need,
And to treat myself in a gentle way.
I have no fear of my own existence,
For I have learned to find joy in the present.
To appreciate the beauty that surrounds me,
And to savor the moments that are pleasant.
I have learned to live in the moment,
And to let go of regrets from the past.
To focus on what I can control,
And to make the most of each day that will not last.
I have no fear of my own existence,
For I have learned to love and be loved.
To cherish the relationships in my life,
And to be grateful for the connections I have formed.
I have learned to be vulnerable,
And to open my heart to others.
To share my struggles and my triumphs,
And to support one another, like sisters and brothers.
I have no fear of my own existence,
For I have learned to live authentically.
To be true to myself and my values,
And to express myself, unapologetically.
I have learned to be my own unique self,
And to celebrate my individuality.
To let my light shine brightly,
And to inspire others to do the same, with humility.
So I will continue on this journey,
With a heart full of hope and a mind full of grace.
For I know that with each passing moment,
I am growing stronger, and finding my place.
I have no fear of my own existence,
For I have learned to trust in the divine.
To have faith in the goodness of life,
And to believe that everything will be just fine.
