My Fate

I am the voice some thought would never be heard.

That bird some said was born without a voice.

One who was stolen from heaven she was born to touch.

But here I am, still breathing.

Caged without a choice, with my brain as my only ally.

Born under a bad sign, hiding an ace under her sleeve.
