A small poem
In the darkest of nights, When the stars are out of sight, When the wind howls and bites, And the world seems to lose its light. When all the ghosts seem to have lost their way.
In those moments of despair, When hope is but a fleeting glare, And you feel alone and bare, With nothing but pain to share. When every single memory pierces your soul.
That’s when you need to ignite, The fire within you, the light, That will guide you through the night, And keep your spirit burning bright.
For you are stronger than you know, And capable of letting go, Of all the burdens that weigh you low, And rising above the undertow.
You have a voice that can sing, A heart that can dance and bring, Joy and love to everything, And make your soul take wing.
So don’t give up, don’t lose hope, For life is a slippery slope, But with courage, you can cope, And find the strength to elope.
Elope from the darkness and pain, From the fears that constrain, And embrace the sunshine and rain, The joys and sorrows that sustain.
For life is a wild and crazy ride, A journey that cannot be denied, But with each step, you can decide, To live fully and with pride.
Pride in who you are and what you do, In the things that make you true, And in the love that surrounds you, And the dreams that you pursue.
So let your heart be your guide, And let your soul take its stride, As you travel far and wide, On this journey called life.
And when the road gets rough, And the going gets tough, Remember that you are enough, And that you are loved and enough. Remember that you are the owner of your destiny.
For you are a flame that burns bright, A beacon in the darkest night, And with your love, you can ignite, The world around you with your light.
A sweet kind of warmth that fills your soul up all of a sudden. You close your eyes and you feel alive again.
