If You Hate Me

--

A little poem for somebody

Photo by Igor Miske on Unsplash

If you really hate my guts,

Then, pull the trigger for good.

Tell me how much you hate me,

Stop that fake act of kindness.

You don’t love me, never did.

Take off that mask and see me.

I wish they could see your truth.

Your smile cannot deceive me.

Liar, nothing but a sad liar.

My soul is still pierced inside,

But I know it will heal real soon.
