From Darkness to Light: A Journey of Hope and Renewal #poem
This is a little poem about finding light after a struggle with darkness
I walked in darkness for a very long time,
Trying to find some kind of light.
A struggle with demons, a battle with fear,
A journey through shadows that left me unclear.
I stumbled and fell, lost in the night,
Trying to find a way to make things right.
But the darkness consumed me, took over my soul,
Left me feeling empty, with nowhere to go.
I cried out for help, but my voice was unheard,
Lost in the abyss, with nothing but the absurd.
The weight of the darkness, it dragged me down,
Until I was buried deep in the ground.
But then a flicker of light, it caught my eye,
A glimmer of hope, shining from up high.
I reached out for it, with all my might,
And it grew stronger, like a beacon of light.
Slowly but surely, the darkness gave way,
As the light got brighter, with each passing day.
It filled me with hope, with a newfound strength,
And I knew that I had gone to great lengths.
To find my way back, to find the light,
And to keep moving forward, with all my might.
The darkness may come, it may try to win,
But I will keep fighting, I will not give in.
For I know now, that even in the darkest of times,
There is always a way, a way to find light.
And as long as I keep moving forward,
The darkness will never have the final word.
I have learned that sometimes, it’s okay to fall,
To stumble and trip, to hit the wall.
But it’s how we get back up, that defines who we are,
And how we keep fighting, even when things get hard.
So I will keep moving forward, one step at a time,
With the light as my guide, and my heart as my rhyme.
For I know that no matter what life may bring,
The light will always be there, shining its wing.
And even when the darkness tries to creep in,
I will stand my ground, with a fire within.
For I have found the light, I have seen its glow,
And it fills me with hope, with a strength to grow.
So let the darkness come, let it try to win,
For I am not afraid, I will never give in.
I will keep moving forward, with the light as my guide,
And the darkness will fade, with nothing to hide.
For I have found the light, and it has found me,
And together we will fight, to be free.
Free from the darkness, free from the pain,
And we will dance in the light, once again.
So if you are lost, if you are feeling down,
Just remember that the light can always be found.
It may be a flicker, it may be a flame,
But it will guide you through, and help you reclaim.
Reclaim your strength, reclaim your hope,
And keep moving forward, with all your scope.
For the darkness may try, but the light will prevail,
And in the end, it will always unveil.
The beauty of life, the beauty of love,
The beauty of all things, that come from above.
So keep walking in the light, keep fighting the fight,
And know that you are never alone, in the darkness or light.
