Can you understand? I just wanna be happy, with no fear or hesitation about living.
My dream is breathing with no fear about what might happen tomorrow.
Golden threads are standing right in front of me, I can see them.
I wanna be from any form of painful fear, for I know I deserve better.
I won’t give up on my fight, I promise this for sure, dear partner.
Just, hold my hand, as the nights are getting longer and colder.
But I am not afraid of walking a dark path if that means being free.
By keeping me company you do a lot for this broken soul.
