“What are you waiting for?”, was the voice ringing inside her head.
Sandra found the answer in his hands.
Soft, tender, magnificent. A thunder that shook her tired heart in a moment.
She could never have dreamed of something as beautiful as this. There was something magical about the imperfection of his partner. Someone as serious as Sandra could have never guessed how much joy will bring into her life waking up next to a skinny young man with messy hair.
Their love was the polar opposite of what she was used to seeing in those cheesy Hollywood movies, where everything seems directly out of a fairytale. Their relationship was raw, intense at moments, and filled with the ups and downs that make life interesting.
One thousand nights dreaming of a future together, trying to craft a better world. A couple of dreamers joined in the warmest embrace under the star.
Their plans were forever, but unexpected life turns managed to pull the dreamers apart.
But still, today, when a memory crosses Sandra’s path, she can’t help but smile. A piece of these sunny days still shines inside her heart.
