Woah! This was more than I ever dreamed of. A little poem and “thank you”
Everybody gotta start somewhere, I know, but for being an ESL writer, this was more than I ever dreamed of. I will make it brief, I will make it clear. Thank you very much for tagging along on this “magical mystery” ride, with me. I don’t have a “big name”, such as many Medium writers do, I don’t have an enormous social media following, but believe me, I do have many interesting ideas to share with every single one of you. So, thank you for holding my hand through the good and the bad times, and for sharing your points of view about my writings.
Why “thank you”?
Well, nowadays, it is easy to become a bit entitled, mostly when people start to follow you, but I think we must never forget where we come from and who helped us all along the way.
Why now?
Because I just cannot wait to make it to 1500, and I just think is never too early or too late to celebrate any achievement.
Thank you for holding my hand,
Thank you for singing my pain.
Thank you for believing in me.
I am what I am because of you.
Every word makes sense, because of you.
Thanks for being my clarity in my dark hour.
You are the vessel that makes my voice sound.
The color of my most beautiful painting.
